Less than 1% of humanitarian funding is focused on innovation and traditional humanitarian assistance can’t reach some of the people who need it most around the world. That’s why the Humanitarian Grand Challenge seeks innovative ideas that can help tackle the most serious humanitarian needs of the hardest-to-reach people living in conflict zones. Funding ranges from $250,000 to $1,000,000 and focus on: energy, safe water, sanitation, life-saving information, and health.
